Remix of Fits and Starts from Atoms.'s 2012 self-titled ep.

Again, this one was done from the master because, unusually, I had actually been *denied* access to the source files. This meant I had to sing in the vocal part myself rather than use an isolation of the real vocal.

The original idea was to do the mix entirely based on Rob's lovely outro bass part (plus the short lyric that is sung), and early versions kept to this. However, it dragged a bit over the course of 6 minutes and rather than chop it back, I saw it as a challenge to maintain the interest. I decided to drop in more samples of the original, so at about the half way point a sample of the intro kicks in; and later I use samples of the main section of the song.

The frenetic pace is due to me speeding it up, then the effects broke and corrupted the savefile, meaning anything I wasn't happy with had to stay.

they open the door to your light
